My OEM batt has a July 2016 mfg date on it, still going strong, but getting a new one at such a discount now just seems prudent.

Came across this graphic on the dealer website. Fits what I've said for the last 55 years - hot weather is worse for batteries than cold weather is. (Of course, I have been able to keep the last four batteries in my Civic and Taco working for 10 years each, so there's that...)

 

What dealer did you get your battery from? I don’t see anything about a current discount when I google it, I just keep seeing old discounts from Christmas time/Black Friday

 

it’s Southeast Toyota dealers, so like NC, SC, GA, FL, and AL. They won’t ship batteries from my understanding. I live in NC and was able to pick one up in 30 minutes.

 

Every 2 years in AZ.

 

Filters like $3.35 with promotion. Time to stock up.
