Anyone have any experience with oscelating multitool blades designed to cut metal? What do you recommend? I'm just looking to clean up a area I cut rust out of on my crown Vic before welding a new panel in.

Friend just junked his 'golden rolla' Odometer stopped at 525K but it went another 250K. Timing belt failure, was it's final hurrah.

Didn't change the oil past, the 300K mark. Just added anything extra they had around every now and then.

Only did brakes on it, cuz if you touched anything else, it was not good.

Incredible what those cars can do.

^Just look at what's used for taxis and airport black cars, when operating costs and durability directly affect their livelihood. All I see are Camry, Sienna, and Highlander hybrids in those roles.

Since (I assume) you probably have shop air, the cheapo fister die grinders cant be beat for the price.

1/4 in. Mini Air Die Grinder $15

1/4 in. Right-Angle Air Die Grinder $30 (<-- i have the "low noise" pro point one and it is nicer but not a big improvement)

Perfect .. I appreciate all the help. I'll do my best to get it as good as possible but you'd know best about what alterations to make.

So I may have some that are cut and ready to go that may need some tweaking. I had it on my truck a while ago. Dude who made them screwed a bunch of people around so I got new rails from the guy who made the cnc file you are currently trying to get them from.

these are the rails I had on the truck from the dude who screwed people over
    Current configuration
    image.jpg

I switched them out. these are the rails from the cnc file from the thread on tw
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/flatbed-35’s-and-mainly-parked-for-repairs.202916/page-40#post-26066225

the guy who made the cnc file had an extra set I got for $100 a while back.
    few subtle details.

If you want them let me know and we can work out a deal. They have been sitting in the garage for a couple years with the thought of using them for a roof rack on another project so would be happy to see them get some use. I won’t have time for another project in the next little while anyways with the baby on route.
