I noticed if I'm on a rough highway with a lot of dips and rises the stock shocks are very bouncy. 2023 ted or. How much better off a ride are 6112 on and off road

Stock shocks aren’t the 4600’s. I put 4600’s on my truck and they were noticeable bigger in diameter vs the stock shocks. It rides a lot better than stock.

They are only available as a Toyota part, there isn't an aftermarket bilstein equivalent. They are thinner shocks.

Yep stock is just a Toyota exclusive shittier version of the 4600s. That being said, I’ve got the 6112s on my 3rd gen 4Runner and they are absolute beasts. Probably overkill unless you wheel.

If you just want less nose dive go with the 5100s if you have a lift / do light trails, or the 4600s if you’re stock height

My biggest complaint with the stock struts was the bouncy action after driving for 1hr+ I went with 6112 and I'm happy with my decision
