I was going to get my daughter a Toyota Camry XSE. I just happened to rent one last week at an airport. The leather seats were hard as a Moab canyon rock as soon as I sat in it! Hard as in uncomfortably hard, like plywood.

I rented one to wait out my ppf installation on my truck. It is clearly a performance car trim, aiming at BMWish competition. Ultra low profile wide ass tires, sport bucket seats, more aggressive tune. The seats are supposed to be firm. This is not relevant to whether Toyota is slipping. I thought it was cool. Liked it. There are other Camry trims for softer behinds.

Same as a test drive, I suppose. With the added bonus that you get to experience one that's been thrashed. We all know that the fastest car in the world is a rental...

No. Try owning a Jeep or Ram or a Ford.

Which is why I’m back on TEAM TOYOTA.

Make sure your traction control is turned on.
Check your tires for excessive wear.
If you still feel your toyota is slipping, try slowing down.

Ironically enough, Apple pie came from England in the 14th century.

Very disappointed. And just now in verifying, I find that German chocolate cake has no Germans in it. Pretty sure it has chocolate, though.

Seriously. I owned a Daimler-Chrysler product. That one time was enough for me. I bought another German car after that, apparently thinking I didn’t do enough penance for my manifold sins. Once I got that out of my system, I went Japanese and haven’t gone back.

Toyotas may not be as funky, but the idea that the car probably isn’t a ticking time bomb is awfully nice.

So, Toyota doesn't have to knock it out of the park, they just need to do a little bit better than the other guys?

Our experience with now several Toyotas while having 1-3 competitors at same time and over time, it seems like just beating means, medians while standing behind customers is their success or how they've achieved so much market share.

Well obviously it isn't going to be UNDER. 10% of 4500lb is 450lb.
That's a down-slope drive. 8500ft to 4600ft. What is your long term average?

The 4G is new . It does do lots of stuff better . I think it will be a very good truck . I am totally fine with my 3G also . It does what I need it too, and it’s totally paid for , so a much as I would like to get one I remind myself of that . But overall I really do like the way the 4 g looks and drives . Toyota did a great job with it .

I think anymore when buying new you should just look at who has the longest warranty available and if you're going to keep it out of warranty get the one that is the cheapest to fix.

The Camry LE is the best model. With those fat high profile tires it rides better, gets better MPG, and is cheaper to own than the more expensive models. Camry LE + power seat option.
