Any recommendations on the best trusted shop to do my wheel alignment after installing 2” TRD lift kit? Located in the East Bay Area. Brentwood, Oakley, Livermore, or willing to drive anywhere in the Bay Area to find someone to do it right the first time. Thanks.

I had mine done at 4wheel Parts in Oakland. No other shop was able to get it right. I have 2.5in lift. Only shop open on Saturdays as well.

Fairfield is probably out of your range but “Alignment Shop” in Fairfield is by far the best shop I’ve been to. It’s ran by 1 older, knowledgeable man who’s been doing alignments for over 30 years, so it’s not like it’ll be a coin toss that you’ll get a good tech. He’s aligned my lifted/aftermarket uca truck 3 times just because I wanted to try out different numbers and he’ll do anything you ask him to do as long as it’s possible. It’s easy to schedule an appointment, and you’re in there and out in less than an hour every time. 85 dollars for a FULL alignment, no overpriced toe and goes with inexperienced techs like other shops. Can’t recommend him enough.

I took mine to Beep's Offroad in Hayward. I have 255/85r16 tires with OME uca and the tires were running against the back fender area. The ship that installed the arms aligned it to factory specs and I went back twice to ask for more caster (3.5+). They barely got it past 3 degrees each time. Took it to a shop in Santa Rosa and the gentleman got one side to 3.5 and the other pretty close, around 3.4 and I thought it was fine but it ended up rubbing when I turned into my driveway. After nearly a year of that, I finally stopped putting it off and drove my ass down to Beep's and they did an amazing job. When the guy was checking me in for the alignment, he asked me why I drove 60 miles to get an alignment and I told him because people recommended them. He also warned me the OMEs were likely at their limit so they may not be able to get too much caster but ended up calling me an hour later telling me one of the alignment tabs was bent (forgot what he said exactly) but he even sent me a video of what was bent and said that's likely why no one else has been able or willing to align it too far past factory specs. He asked for approval to try to work around the bent tab, and got it way better than I expected. My caster is sitting at a juicy 4.5 now and maybe it's a placebo but the truck feels like it tracks better on the highway now, and best of all, no rubbing detected so far (haven't had a chance to off road yet).

If you don’t mind me asking, what or who is Milogen?

He's a fabricator in Milpitas that works on tons of Tacomas. I had him do my CMC and he took my truck over to Auto Innovations to do my alignment. Awesome job on the CMC and then the alignment shop got me 4 degrees of caster to clear my bigger tires.

Are you using your stock UCA”s with 4 degree caster?
