I’ve got about 15k on my 2024 Tacoma TRD Offroad. No issues. This morning, about 3 miles down the road from a cold start (warmed in driveway with remote for about 10 minutes) I got a message on dash “reduce speed, visit dealer” this flashed on dash twice on my 6 mile commute to work.

Very cold morning here in Breckenridge, CO.
The message isn’t stored and truck seems to be driving fine.. anyone else experience this?

Tundras have different turbos and had a lot of wastegate issues when first came out. Might be worth a trip to the dealer to see if they can pull anymore info.

Might be from the aftermarket fog lights. Although I doubt it can't say I've seen any issues caused by Baja Design fog lights including 3G Tundra. People are saying these new trucks have a lot of sensitive electronics.

Tundra’s early turbo issues were specifically related to electronic wastegates. Tacoma has vacuum.

Did the grill come off when you did this? Maybe a grill shutter issue.

Grill came off, but shutter wasn’t messed with.. I think it might be a cold weather issue. It’s below freezing today and was in the 60s all weekend!

no codes! No stored messages, just intermittently flashed on the dash twice so far.

The cold could actually mean it is a shutter issue. The shutters should close to help warm up the engine. Maybe they just got jammed and then cleared and that is why the message went away.
