Diode Dynamics SS3 ditch lights wiring schematic

Trying to install the diode dynamics SS3 ditch lights with the dual output 4 pin wiring harness that came with it. The harness has a blue, yellow & red wire. The SS3 pod lights have a backlight function. I don't want to use the button switch that came with the lights.

I am trying to wire it up to a Cali Raised LED OEM dual function amber & white switch. The switch has a black, yellow, red, blue & green wire. I was able to get the main light to turn on and off from the switch, but could not get the backlight function to work.

Anyone out there get this to work? TIA

 

You need a wiring diagram for both

 

You can wire 2 (my was red) and wire 4 (Yellow) together. wire 4 is for illumation of the button when headlight is on. I tried tap it to truck bed light Green wire, it did NOT work for me, it burnt the backlit LED on the OEM style switch.
