Took some inspiration from harbor freight toolboxes and made a battery drawer

 

Oh. Oh yes. I like that. Need that for my Makita drawer. Where'd you get that articulated cord raceway? Calling that becuase...I don't know what else to call it.

I thought so as well, as I was getting really tired of power tools and batteries clogging up my other drawers. And I really hate leaving power tools out in the open on my tool box. To often it encourages scavenger borrowing...

However, despite my lack of fear of drilling holes into it, I haven't found a great organizational system for all the tools and batteries that balances full access and maximum space usage. It's really sort of an odd space that's almost too shallow in depth and height, and overly deep side to side.

I'll take a picture of how it stands currently tomorrow, but I've got some other tool and battery holders I'm looking to try to better use the space. But I haven't been really motivated to try them because it's all a 'lateral move' that I'm not convinced will work much better.

 

Like I said, it seems to work better in my head than in reality in some ways.

It seems that A Lot of thoughts work better in our heads then they do when they are put into action LOL.

 

The HF manual tire changer works and has help me out on many sets of tires. But i really hate the bead breaker. 2002 is cool but I wanted one with a gearbox. Those goes for roughly 1k. So I decided to try and come up with something compact specific for my needs.

Just got the parts today. Wish me luck.
