Hi Guys - I was curious if there is a way to have the brake light on my topper flash when I hit the brakes? I want the other brake lights to remain normal, but since I put my expensive bike rack on last season I'm acutely aware of folks approaching at high speed. I called a local outfit that does trailer wiring and they said they could install if I supplied the part. I figured I'd ask here first to see if such a thing exists and if anyone has done it?

There are quite a few people that make modules that will do this. I use this guys timers for a lot of stuff, and he also sells a module for this, so maybe give him a look?

Also, if you need help on the install (if your guy falls through or you just want a plug and play solution) feel free to hit me up. I’ve made a few brake taps for the first gen’s, and incorporating one of these wouldn’t be hard.

Perfect - this is exactly what I'm looking for! It looks like the X2 would be the best one. It has the basic feature I'm looking for, plus one designed for urban stop-n-go traffic. I'll look at the installation info and find what I can first, but I may hit you up on that offer - Thanks so much!!

Hey Puppypunter, I ended up getting the X1 and put it in last weekend. It took a little bit to figure out the programming but it's hooked up and works great! Thanks for the help!
