No problem. Plenty of folks on here just like to post and help where we can. Always nice to hear back from folks though!

    Good luck finding the doggo!

YF_Ryan, thanks for your reply. It took 3 traps and multiple days but eventually Abby was captured in a trap and brought to her new home. The poor girl came from a bad situation and is feral but the new owners are dedicated to rehabbing her and giving her the best life possible.

My RV is now under a cover because we are having a series of winter storms - 3 in a row - right now so there isn't much I can do.

I found a mobile RV tech in Bakersfield who will come up and help me figure out a lot of the technical stuff, including the hitch and potential sway bars and air bags as an addition.

ALthough my Taco looks SO SMALL compared to my trailer, he made me feel better about how she pulled the RV up the Tehachapi grade. I told him I was going 50 mph most of the time and he seemed to think that was awesome!

So a major part of this process for me will be to understand what is normal, not normal, good and bad.

I also want to understand how shifting could badly affect my transmission when I go up and down my mountain.

I will look into possibly storing my RV in the valley if I can find something cheap, but she will live in my driveway for at least a month before I attempt to take her down the mountain and out into our first actual trip!

Thanks! Definitely has been mentioned and I got one installed when I got my camper shell and brake lights installed. Mine was a bit more (150.00) Liberty Arc was suggested and that was what I got!

Man 1100 lbs does sound like a dream lol

My run-away-from-home setup. I've owned three pop-ups since the late 90's. They just work for me.

I've have a pop-up for about 12 years Its a Quick Silver 8 Living Light. Pretty Light, made of aluminum, about 900 lbs. That's my former 2006 Pre-Runner 4.0L v6.
