I went to the dealer's parts department Monday

I was hoping to get a heated steering wheel for my 2021 Limited. Selling appliance parts for years I was hoping for either an OEM wheel or a suggested Non-Oem replacement. The parts dept didn't have an answer, but if I waited they would research. I was told to wait win Waiting Room which I did for a few minutes.
Success. I got my heated steering wheel in a new 2055 that was on display. After some dickering, test driving, swapping plates, etc. I went home with a heated steering wheel packaged into a 2025. It was 95% of being perfect. Biggest gripe is the 32" plasma display in the dash board. I wish it was like the simplistic 2021's.
However, it was the easiest vehicle I've had to hook up Home Link. Presently it has under 100 miles on the odo but I plan on going over 100 miles today.
Migrating to 4th Gen later this week.

You could buy some really nice gloves for the difference in price between a '21 and '25 Tacoma.

The limited came with the AWD, right? Let us know how that feels …I think you’re the 1st I’ve seen with the limited.

32" plasma? That's big ass TV for the truck.. I am sure you meant either 12 or 14" screen, I don't remember the size exactly.

 

i would say get some gloves but OP needs Vaseline now

Wow, I guess I'm showing my age. I should have said the 14" display when compared to the display in the 2021 looked like a plasma 23 ".
The sarcasm regarding heated wheel didn't show. Sunday night while driving with my wife I told her I was going to dealership to get a heated steering wheel. She replied "why not get a new truck"; so I did.
It doesn't seem as nimble as the 2021 but seems more solid.

My 2015 leaf has all 4 seats heated and a heated wheel. And no 32” plasma.

Best part is, unlike the Toyota heated wheels that are only heated on a few spots (9&3 o’clock), mine is heated the full 360 around!
