I *heard he got it the 2nd day cause the 1st one went a little like this o_O

A seasoned hunter named Jim was out in the woods one crisp autumn morning, hoping to bag the big buck he’d been tracking all season. He had his camo gear on, rifle in hand, and the patience of a saint. He sat quietly in his tree stand, eyes scanning the woods for any signs of movement.

Hours passed, and he began to wonder if he'd ever see a deer. Just as he was about to take a nap, he heard a twig snap in the distance. His heart raced. Finally, he thought. He raised his rifle, peering through the scope, ready for the perfect shot.

But when he looked down at the deer, he couldn't believe his eyes. The deer wasn’t running or even walking — it was dancing. Yes, this deer was on two legs, doing what could only be described as the Macarena, right in front of him.

Jim blinked twice, thinking he was imagining things. He lowered his rifle and rubbed his eyes. But nope — the deer was still shaking its hips, grooving to some invisible beat in the forest. It looked like it had found some wild party mix and was totally into it.

Amazed, Jim whispered to himself, "Well, I guess I’ve seen it all now."

The deer kept dancing, completely oblivious to the hunter’s presence. Jim, still in disbelief, watched for a while, wondering if the deer was just showing off or had maybe been influenced by some mysterious forest magic. Eventually, the deer stopped, gave a little nod, as if to say “That’s all, folks,” and casually walked off into the woods.

Jim just sat there for a moment, unsure if he should be impressed or disappointed. Then, in a voice only he could hear, he said, “Well, at least it wasn’t a bad shot. That deer was clearly too cool for my hunting skills anyway.”

He went home empty-handed that day, but with a story to tell that no one would ever believe — the day he watched a dancing deer perform the Macarena in the middle of the woods.

The next day he sobered up and shot the monster buck :anonymous:

Let me ask you a question, Will. If you were a deer and came upon a trough with corn and apples in it IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS, would you go straight to it?

Well, dad had 6 brothers n 2 sisters. earned a meger living off the home place.as a kid i was always told not to cross the top of the mountain. it was a wilderness area. no roads for like 15 miles or more.my uncle was a true mountain man and liked to drink.he would head out with his hounds and may not come out for 2 or 3 days. he came out one time with some hides and the deer head. back then there werent any deer at all. if you saw a track it was a big deal. all the family has passed except dad. and in a nursing home with demtia cant offer me info.i took it in yesterday. and he said he killed it up on bear camp. i said i thought George kllled it. he said yea but he was with him. best story i got.
