Good morning. Had a decent nights sleep last night, first time in a month. Third PT session this week, the sessions help a lot.

Good morning and happy Friday to all. Actually slept until my alarm went off this morning. That doesn't happen very often anymore. :pccoffee:

    Good Morning :hattip:

Surgery went well yesterday !!! Surgeon checked both kidneys and my left kidney was found clear of stones and healthy . They checked the right side kidney and cleared all stones and this kidney also appears very healthy now . I do have a temporary stent in my Right Kidney but will be removed next week

My surgical team at the VA hospital was awesome !!! . They asked me if I wanted to have music and I said yes . I asked If I could listen to Metallica and my surgeon said not a problem . As I was being brought into the operating room I could hear the song unforgiven being played then 5 more of my favorite songs

The lead surgeon and my anesthesiologist said awesome music selection by this Marine

Good news, Chuck. The best kind. Now heal up...

We got snow late yesterday. The first serious snow we've seen since last year. We've been at 23% in the mountains and only skiffs on the valley floors, melting almost as fast as it comes down. This one left maybe 10 inches and it's wet and heavy. Just what we needed.

Well, it is a fun little car........
When we got married, I had a 1966 Kelly Green Bug and my wife had a 1965 Karmen Ghia maroon color.
Worst vehicle decision I ever made was selling that Ghia !!

I had a green super beetle. Was a fun little car. I could tune it up with a screwdriver and a timing light.

    Morning all:

Great news Chuck, wishing you a fast recovery.

Ahh, the Volkswagen beetles, they used to be everywhere, now you rarely see one.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
You've posted that first pic before and I made a mental note that my guess was '70 or '71. The turn signals, brake lights and license plate mount/light are the keys.

My brother and I got to the point that we could have an engine out and on the bench in under 15 minutes. I found a box on one of my shelves a few weeks ago with misc gaskets, nuts, a couple of oil strainers, a fuel pump actuator rod, some points and condensers, rocker shafts, etc. I haven't been inside an air cooled VW motor in close to 30 years!

Pretty amazing little cars, considering that Ferdinand Porsche started designing them in the late '30s.

    Great news Chuck!!!

Good morning. Wife finally went back upstairs to sleep in our bed last night. Cat woke me up at 05:15 wanting to be fed. He is still waiting. Just seems like days when I have session at the PC center are the busiest days.
