IMG_0226.jpgI just noticed a “new” light flashing on my dash while my truck is turned off, keys out of the ignition but can be either inside or outside of the truck. I’ve owned this truck for five years and that light, engine immobilizer system, has never flashed before today. Is this a normal occurrence or should I investigate further ? Thanks.

    Normal.
On my 2014 since I got it in 2021, it flashes unless the key is in the ignition. Both of my keys, remote FOBs and the key number plates are the original pieces that came with the truck.

I'm going with it's always done it, you just didn't notice it. I can't recall the last time I noticed mine flashing, but it does if I'm staring at it long enough.

Lol, it most certainly has flashed before today unless it didn’t have a battery in it

Normal, it flashes any time no key or an unrecognized key is in the ignition.
