The guy above has the perfect input for the wheels. I’m running 8.5 wide as well. I was rubbing with my setup, but I got a BMC and hammered my pinch weld, now nothing at all.

To visualize it, I started with 8.5 width, -6 offset wheels. That required CMC, pinch weld, reform fender liner and trim back the front bottom plastic, to not rub during full suspension cycles. I then added 13mm slip spacers via extended lugs. Now, you're cutting fender body lower back, to clear all around, and that is with moving the LCA out max and forward.
If you go high lift, only drive pavement and don't hop curbs or cross big potholes, some of this may not be needed.

I’m not trying to be smart or start something or even question you. But it’s just not making sense to me. I’ve talked to two other guys with 23s today, both off roads like mine. One running a 3” lift and the other running the rc 3.5” lift. Both running 33-12.50 on spacers with no rubbing or fitment issues. If I can figure out how to upload a photo of their rigs I will. It’s confusing the hell outta me
