What did you pay for your 2025 TACOMAS?

He will miss that, as will the vehicles behind us making faces at him at stoplights. But going from an access cab to double cab the first time he gets to do THIS he'll forget ALL about it. Going to be hard to get him out of the truck at the end of the trip.

 

Getting back to the thread, I guess the question now seems to be will I pay an extra 25% for this truck? (No, I won’t.)

Got a 25 OR iForce max, plus about $7,500 in options for $50,500. Sticker price was originally at $55,800.

 

All of the dealers in NJ are selling MSRP... can someone recommend me a dealer nearby states that are selling under MSRP?

Don't just take what is offered. 10% off window price is to be expected if you negotiate politely, and like they need they sale more than you do, which they do with the excess stock, and you're willing to walk away if it's not a good enough deal.

 

Yes, if you want a decent discount, look for 2024 models actually on the lot in inventory. If you’re flexible on color it helps. I think the one in solar orange is actually awesome but the TH doesn’t come in that color.

I shopped pretty hard the last few weeks. I honestly would have been content with 5% off on a $47k-ish truck if I could have found a trd offroad long bed in black. This truck was on the lot for about 12 days but I had ignored it because it was over my budget. All the other trucks I was trying for were still in transit, out of state, and 200 or more miles away. Sales people consistently said we can probably make a better deal on one of the trucks that’s been sitting on the lot a while so I figured it was worth the trip to see this one.

This was about $5k more than I wanted to spend on a vehicle but now that I have the upgrades I have zero regrets splurging on it. I didn’t have to go out of state for it and mess around with bringing it back to Pa for inspection and registration. I didn’t have to do another round of research on a bed cover since it already had a nicer one than I probably would have bought. Also I said I was going to remove the predator steps immediately but now they are growing on me.

I kept my last truck 16 years and hope to get a similar experience with this one.
