Bought a new crate motor. Installed all they accessory truck is throwing a fault, crank shaft position sensor.

Bought a new sensor, threw fault again. Checked all wires and grounds (has same ohms from sensor to computer) figured maybe I got a bad sensor so I bought another crank shaft position sensor. Didnt help. Checked the gear inside on crank shaft where sensor is looking at, it's there and turns. I bought a new ecm.. same fault crank shaft position sensor.

Is it possible I have had 3 bad crankshaft sensors? All three do test funny 2.4 ohms... I tested the cam shaft position sensor and it tested good 1200 ohms but crank sensor only test 2.3 - 2.4 ohms... is that thousands I'll include some pictures of what I did

Anyway someone can test their crank shaft sensor to see what it ohms out at?

Pictures are if I'm reading them right?

Cam shaft position sensor 1.214 ohms? should be 834 -1400 ohms

Crank shaft position sensor 2.37 ohms? Should be 1630 - 2740 ohms. Am I in range? Is the 2.37 in thousands?? I see the k up there but not sure if I'm reading it right

At this point you really need someone with a scope to look at the sensor signal and compare it to a known good signal, there's not really many checks you can do with a meter other than the wiring and ohming the sensor which it sounds like you did already.

Your readings were good with the first meter. See the "Auto K" in the display? That is saying it is set auto-range itself, and the "K" means x 1000. In auto-range, the meter sets the display units based on the value it detects.

So, 1.214 ohms x 1000 = 1214 ohms. Right in the middle of the range from the manual.
