Fun fact: Qi charging is cool but gets the phone HOT on a long trip. Probably not good for the longevity of your phone battery.

Solution: Tether the phone to get both charging AND data to your JBL system. Note: The lower USB’s are charging only, no data.

Now I just need a rock solid phone mount!

Same, and I assume my phone charges faster.

Forgive me, I’m 63 yrs old and not a techie. What is the data port used for? I have my iPhone paired and use Apple Car Play and the seems fine to me. Am I missing out on some key features? Please don’t tell me to read the manual, that thing is thicker than the old Sears catalog!

Does our truck have a hard drive to store music on?

    I believe it's just a connection for a phone.

I have my entire music collection on a USB stick. When connected to that data port, it’s just another music source.

Many people have their music on their phone so using a different storage method is unneeded.

Music and maps etc. Better fidelity/connection than Bluetooth plus charges the phone.

Probably a stupid question, but I have a huge itunes library. How do I put it on a USB to use in the truck?

You probably have iTunes on your PC or MAC. Just use the File Explorer, find iTunes libray in Music folder, and copy/paste music files to a USB stick big enough to hold them.
