Good feedback! I purchased my bulbs through Lowes (had a gift card) and they sell it as a single bulb for basically the same equivalent price as GTR's website.

I haven't experienced hyperflash yet from just normal operation. I'll definitely keep my eye out for that if I turn my flashers on for long periods of time.

I would not have guessed Lowe's was a place you could purchase these! Good to know!

Edit: the photos shown on the Lowe's website appear slightly different than the ones I received in 2020 so perhaps they've made some product improvements since then!

Just placed an order. The pic on the site shows two bulbs in the package, but it's still half of the price of the website. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. If not, I only needed one in the first place so I can't complain.

:D That's exactly what I thought...2 bulbs for half the price as everywhere else. Guess who had to place a second order? :anonymous:

Got the new one today. Single bulb, however it was not what they showed on the website and was, in fact, the same as the one I received in 2020. So far so good though!

I finally got to use my strobes at the jobsite last week. And then I realized that during the daytime it is difficult to tell if they are off or on (besides the switch being illuminated).
So the strobe module I bought has wires for 6 lights. I am currently only using 4, so I figure I can add an indicator light to one of the unused wires:

Gotta test the brightness tonight, but it's only supposed to be 5 lumens.:bananadance::bananadance:

This is actually something I need to install too. I have left mine on a few times during the day and driven around for awhile.

It's also helpful to show what pattern is being selected without walking out of the truck, though 2 indicators would've been nice (left & right) since I have my lefts and rights set up as alternating. This is the one I installed:

I use those brand LEDs in my kayak, they work really really good.

Now I'm curious... what are the lights for on your kayak?

I have amber ones to light up the deck, and a single UV one to charge up glow baits for night fishing.

@slowpoke16taco where did you get the connectors and pins to make the harness?

I found them on AliExpress (though I think I read somewhere here on TW that the dealer sells the set of connectors + pins?).

Reviving an old thread here, but...

my battery died (probably just time for a new battery) but is there an easy way to get away from the always hot power source?

Is there any workaround using the C10 plug (Power source only on when ignition on?) or am I bound to a fuse tap?

probably a stupid question, but I figured @caribe makaira would know.
