i'm lifting my truck back up after having it lowered for so long, what's the best option/ way to lift it enough, so i can fit 35's with a good amount of gap, i wanna run 17x9's anyone know some good alloy wheels in bronze? i think it'd look good on the mgm color, any suggestions and recommendations would be helpful, thanks.

    I'll cast my vote early.

Once you finish your research, it'll never happen.

i've seen a lot of guys 6 lug swap, and just don't add a transfer case or cv axles, i just don't understand how to do it, i already have 2 lowered trucks, id rather have one lifted. and if i can get to a lift height high enough to get 35's on, id be happy, or even 33's cause those are usually a tight fit without a good amount of trimming.

I know enough to know that to get close you'll have to butcher the truck and you won't like the way it performs when you're done, unless you're willing to upgrade the entire driveline. And you'll likely spend more than the truck is worth to get there. Meaning......

If 2wd is good for you, starting with a 6 lug pre runner with a v6 would make things a lot easier. Totally different suspension setup than our 5 lugs. Even with 6 lugs, 35s are a bit of a challenge in the fabbing process.

We have a 5 lug forum, and some folks have done some pretty wild things. You might check that out.

There arent any bro dozer lifts available for 5 lugs, I believe the torch add a leaf and small spacer is all thats left.

Most 35s are achieved by cutting cab mounts and using aftermarket upper arms to move the wheel forward.

There are no upper arms for the the 5 lug, it is different.

Body lifts are stupid and a huge amount of work to ruin a truck. (you stretch harnesses, steering linkages, the rad fan doesnt line up etc)

Lastly the 4 cylinder pushing 100lb wheel/tire combo isnt great, you lose gearing with the tire size, and rotating mass means you have a slug to drive.

I vote small lift and 32's tires or 33 inch skinnies.

35’s require a lot of work even on the 4x4 models.

if i wanted to run 275/75/r16, would those be able to fit? with black box mod, the 2.75/3 inch lift, and 2 inch shackles, with a aal, that's closer to a bigger 33, do you know if that'd work? i'm not worried about it being slow or it being bad gearing, i have all the parts to turbo it, but i have to find the right time to do it seeing as i daily it,

Just as a point of reference, a 235 75 15 on wheels with the specs of what you have now, are the largest you can fit with no modifications and no rubbing at all. It's what I run on mine.

You might find the tire calculator useful to consider other fitments.

Just keep in mind when the wheel specs start changing so does the fitment

For 35’s you would have a 6 lug on SOA leafs and do the required mods.
