Hey all, went through the dealer to get some OEM sway bar links to replace the crapped out Moogs I installed a few years ago. First set came in with the left side link dry as I’d expect, but the right side link was covered in grease. Both boots were oozing grease all over the packaging. Didn’t feel this was normal for a new sealed boot to do this so I had the dealer exchange for a new one. To my surprise, the replacement is doing the same thing, oozing grease out of a small slit in the rubber like a pimple. I’d think that the suspension cycling would cause the rest of the grease to ooze out in no time. Am I crazy or is this how they’re designed? Hard to believe I would have received two faulty OEM parts in a row.IMG_8760.jpg

Looks like a torn boot. You can super glue it or return it.

Good to know I’m not missing something here. The joys of ordering parts online.
