I decided against them. Mine came with some drop-in LED bulbs (installed by the previous owner) that did provide a bit more light than I was expected, but that wasn't enough. After doing a lot of reading and researching, I wanted to upgrade to OEM LED's. As much as I wanted TRP PRO LED's, I didn't like the price tag, after all, all you get is the fancy TRD and Pro logos with a bit of extra black. So I opted for the standard LEDs. I lucked out and scored a set of used ones with some broken tabs, and with the help of Firn's tab replacements and Daveeasa's harness, I was able to get them on.
The install was a bit more tedious than I thought and I did end up scratching a corner of one of the headlights as I didn't want to pull the bumper more than I needed to. While I was at it, I also added the foglight covers from Rigid as I am a big fan of yellow fogs.
I still got to make sure the DRL is working as I ran out of daylight and adjust the beams so I do not blind oncoming traffic. I will also take better pictures of how they look. I think it makes the truck a bit more aggressive.
Let me know what y'all think

    Game changer.

I've had my truck for nearly 4 years now and I still smile every time those brilliant factory LEDs come on.

Tell me more about the yellow fog light covers. I'd love some yellow fogs.

not sure what OP used but I have factory LED fogs, and used yellow LaminX. ~$15 for 2 precut pieces, squegee on like window tint. heat gun helps if its cold out.

Thanks. Been looking at these. For <$20, they seem like a decent option.

Did you have to remove the fog light bezel? Or just apply directly?

I've done the yellow lamin-x on previous vehicles and to me, the output seems a bit more green-ish than yellow. Granted, the fog lights were LED and not halogen so that makes the output not as yellow. I went with the Rigid snap on covers. The color is much darker than I thought but it is perfect as the light does have a bit more yellow tint to it. I will take some night shots tonight to show the output. Oh, I forgot to mention they ran me $20 for both and I did have to remove the bezel to ensure they snapped in properly.

    Edit:

Here's my previous VW with yellow Lamin-X on LED fog lights. You can see what I mean by the yellow tint.

No need to remove. The light lense has ~1/8” clearance between the fog light bezel. Enough room to get a squeegee in there to depress the edges.

Here are the updated pictures with the LED's and foglight covers installed.
I am very pleased on how they look. I just need to find different side boards and I'll be happy on how she looks.

Did your step bars come black or did you paint/powder coat them? I believe I have the same ones on my truck, but chrome. I like their functionality, hate the chrome.

They came like that. I’d suggest you search your local FB marketplace as I see them for sale often when they get changed to rock sliders or other steps.
