Video tutorial on how to remove the front bucket seats in a first generation Toyota Tacoma. This particular truck I am working with is a 2001 model and the driver’s seat is equipped with the lumbar option.

    Tools/Supplies Needed:
    -14mm socket
    -1/2" ratchet
    -wire brush
    -penetrating oil
    -medium grade thread locker

Does one really need a video to remove 4 bolts and 2 plugs?

I've been looking for a video tutorial on how to remove the gas cap. Got any links?

You do NOT need to use a torque wrench for these bolts, lol.

I'm thinking this is/was a/part of reason that there wasn't an instructional video for this before:D

Just because you know how to do it, doesn't mean everyone else does. You'd be surprised the questions people ask, let people learn and don't shame them for it.

    Excellent video.

I need to remove the drivers seat so I can have enough room to pull the door panel. The door won't unlock so I have to work on it from inside the truck with the door closed. Bummer!
