    Ladies and Gentlemen,
I ran this for a short time as the truck is now having the newest / updated LCE Magnuson supercharger system installed! I used part of an aFe cold air intake system. Because there are issues with aftermarket cold air intake systems. First is the sub par air filter itself. These cone filters just don’t filter out the small particles and the oiled filters will eventually COVER the mass airflow sensor with oil, creating havoc!!! I personally had one cover the Mass Airflow Sensor so bad that it shut my engine down. And without a can of MAF cleaner, I was Screwed‼️ This happened with a brand new K&N factory oiled filter!!! Never Again‼️
The factory cotton air filter is superior in every way. Just keep them clean and what people don’t know is that they can be cleaned. I have two air filters, I will clean one and use the other one while the one I just cleaned drys. The way I clean a factory cotton air filter is take a spray bottle fill about a third full of your favorite liquid laundry soap then fill with water. Mix now saturate the crap out of the filter, it needs to be soaked. (Both sides) “I” let it sit for about an hour then rinse it clean with a garden hose. Run the water the opposite direction of the air flow through the filter.
Second is the aftermarket filter systems also suck in hot air from the engine bay. I have yet to find one that seals off the engine bay, therefore sucking in hotter air.
Other than removing the noise reduction system from above the right front fender liner I installed this. Believe it or not I think it actually gave the engine a little bit more pep.
All I did to the truck before I was talked into being a Guinea pig for this newest supercharger system.
I changed gears to put the engine rpm’s just a little faster than stock, and equal length LCE header. Now the extensive part was having a custom built exhaust system with a high flow cat. To keep the noise down I ran two large Magnaflow’s in a series. The first muffler is a 5x8x18 goes where the second factory cat is then directly behind it is a 5x11x22 side in center or top out, standing up. Otherwise you will have drone.
My apologies for this long post but you be shocked on how many questions I get when I post my experiments for sale. I don’t mind answering questions because I myself have asked a lot to others. That’s why this is the best automotive enthusiast website on the internet. Thanks to all that have answered my stupid questions‼️

Anymore questions just ask. Last a photo of my over priced exhaust before being transferred from my 07 to 05 and removed the 5x8x14 to install a larger 18”.
Oh, on my LS swapped Tacoma I have TWO 5x11x22 Magnaflow’s in a series. Yes there’s room!
