Dang this truck bed is nasty!!! I tried a pressure washer with a 15 degree nozzle and then a Turbo Nozzle (it shoots a straight stream but it spins in a tight circle) and got a little off of it, but I gave up after a bit when nothing much was coming up. Did a deep clean on the wheels and tires though. Those were totally neglected and even though we hired a detailer to clean the truck, he did a crummy job. Took about 10 minutes at each corner and an assortment of brushes, Adams Wheel & Tire cleaner (HIGHLY recommend) and a pressure washer and got them sparkling clean! Next, I hit the interior with some Super Clean in either 16:1 or 4:1 to address some of the nastier parts of the interior. I hate gray plastic, it really shows everything.

Tomorrow is the engine bay and the exterior. Probably get to dressing the interior too. So much to do and so little time to do it! Rain is coming by Wednesday.

Doesn't even have a license plate yet!
What did I do? I bought it!

Finally back into another 2.5 gen -- This time, I'm not ever getting rid of it! 2014 Sport, 6 speed, 106k, very clean for a New England truck. Excited to start the build all over again!

Sunday a buddy with all the tools helped in wiring in the signals on the switchback DRL’s I put in the previous weekend. Also rewired the Fog Lights any time mod more permanently with better wire and connectors.

got tired of $5/hr mechanic jobs and Altimas flying through the air in Charlotte, NC so I drove to Jacksonville FL to check it out and now cruising towards Miami, who knows what after that

Got a flat tire on the way (aka tore a hole in my sock driving stick) so I will keep my eye out for a WalMart to repair resupply

Got this delivered. Now to find some time this week to install and hopefully stop my dash lights from going crazy

Changed the coolant today. Drained the radiator and both sides of the block (hardly anything came out of the driver side block drain after doing the passenger). Truck is at 85,000 miles but 10 years old so it was due.

Can you tell me what all you did to improve your anytime fog light mod? My first attempt was the one with the relay out of its socket and three wires. They were 16 gauge but they ended up melting together and blowing the relay.

Pro tip: pull off your splash guard in your driver wheel well and do the removal/install through there. Worlds easier.

I recently got my new set of OEM smoked housings to replace my cracked and faded aftermarket ones. Thinking ahead this time and applying ceramic coating to the lenses annually from now on.

YES. I went through the top and had to bend my A/C discharge hardline more than I was comfortable with but all is good, next time through the well for sure!

I had previously replaced the OEM one about 15k ago. So around 115k? (Lately ive been doing about 5k per year. Have 133k on my truck currently) The aftermarket one thats there now has been good for about 3 years. The voltage jumps when its cold or if I hit a dip in the road, and causes my dash to light up.

This time I went with a Denso reman for around $240 shipped from RockAuto, including a $75 core charge. The part number is 210-1084 for the 130A

I may try it this time. My coilover reservoir is right there, so i guess we will see. The last time I didnt bend the AC lines that much

Nice! Have you considered getting the lights PPF'd? (Paint protection film). The ceramic coat won't really protect against tiny rocks and other debris flung up at the front end of the truck/lights which is where you get all of the pitting from. My 2004 BMW looks awful. It almost looks like one of those frosted interior lights.

the improvement was using a bigger gauge wire than I originally used. It was really ghetto but I used what I could find at the time, I knew I would replace it (thin gauge double wire - I stripped and used both together). Also used a better connector. No improvements other than that, sorry.

btw, this is the mod I did. Same one I saw on TW.

Also, if anyone is interested, these are the lights I got. They replace a small piece of trim under the headlight. We’ll see how they last. What could go wrong with a brand as well known as Geegeetop. :p:D :fingerscrossed:

Thanks, my next attempt will be the method to bend the one leg of the relay and leave it in its socket so there’s only one wire. I’m going to use 14 gauge this time with an in-line fuse and hopefully that does the trick.

I like this setup. I've been toying with the idea of making the truck more of a street style. What size wheels/tires are those? Are you lowered at all?

X2, PPF is the way to go. Did that after I put in my TRD Pro OEMs.
