Here’s some pic's of the new FN countersteer X flow form 17x9, -25 offset with 285/70/17 geolandar mt’s. This is my second set of wheels from Dustin and highly recommend FN.

 

Thanks Dustin, finally got around to mounting & balancing & waiting for 25k metric tons of salt on the roads to get washed away but the 2nd Gen has its new shoes on

 

I gave my wife my FN FX pros a while ago. Finally installed her lift that was sitting in the garage for a year. So of course new tires were next. 285 MT Baja boss AT's.

Thank you too Ron! I don't blame you for waiting on the salt to wash away. If you think that you'll be driving on the wheels during the winter months I've found that ceramic coating helps a lot with salt resistance.

Your truck looks great! It's a little hard to tell with the lighting, but is it Pyrite Mica or Magnetic Grey Metallic? Either way, it looks great. Glad you went with the new center caps too. I'm partial to the new cap design myself.

Nice 4Runner Alan! How do you like the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT? I've heard a lot of good things about those tires from my customers.

 

I'm a fan so far. I had 265 70 r17 wildpeaks before these SL rated and these are only about 6 lbs more for a 285. Pretty deep tread and rides smooth and quiet.

 

Here is mine. Dark High-Gloss Gunmetal. They look black and shiny and I think are a nice contrast with the cement grey. It was a good recommendation from Dustin. @JdMeF9SiR2

Went for the 0 offset with 255/80-R17 (10x33) Geolander A/T4 tires. Truck is lifted with OME coils/shocks/leafs and ARB ucas. No rubs and no troubles with alignment. So far I like the Geolanders better than the Cooper Discoverer S/T they replaced for the quieter ride.

Does anyone have a technique or gadget for hanging the spare under the bed and not scratching up the wheel?

 

I'm glad to hear you're happy! Thank you for your order. I really like the contrast of high gloss dark gunmetal on cement grey. High gloss dark gunmetal looks really good on lunar rock too. In my opinion, cement grey and lunar rock are two of the coolest colors that Toyota has ever made.

There is a company that makes a spare protector. It's not cheap, but it is effective.

I've also seen some people drill or cut out plastic bucket lids, trash can lids or round trays and use them to protect the face of the spare when mounted underneath the truck.

18x9 BFD with 0 offset & 5" BS, with black domed center cap & black lug nuts. I plan to run a 265/60/18 tire which are the same height as the 245/75/16's that are on the truck now.

Matte bronze is going to look sweet on your black truck. The contrasting colors pair nicely.
