I just got a 2012 Tacoma TRD sport. I’ve noticed that when I start the truck, even with the lights off, the amber headlights are always on. Is there a way to shut them off? Thanks

The later 2nd gen’s had the lighting stalk to turn the “DRL lights” off, but 2012 didn’t get it.
You may be able to retrofit the one from the 2013-15 on the truck, but I’m not sure if it will work.

I get an insurance discount for having them “on” and calling daytime running lights.
