Found a really good deal on marketplace for a set of Trd Pro Fox front shocks. Jumped on them without doing the proper due diligence....I know, I know.
Took them to a local Fox approved rebuilder to have them serviced and they suggested I replace the lower mount bushing. They said it's not a Fox part so they can't order it. Which is neither here nor there.
I start researching parts and I think I've determined I've actually purchased Tundra shocks. Based solely on pictures, everything I'm finding says the Tacoma shocks are single units while the Tundra shocks have a remote reservoir. I, of course, have the remote reservoir models. (see pic attached)

If this is true, I'm guessing I'm hosed. Since the Tundra shocks would be valved for a heavier truck. And the springs would have a higher k value for the additional weight over a Tacoma.

Can anyone confirm if these are, in fact, Tundra shocks and cannot be used on a Tacoma?

Tundra strut mounts have 4 studs. Tacoma's have 3. That's the easiest way to tell.

Tundra's have a lot larger lower mount as well, different lengths. You can't use them on a Taco

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
You’ll be able to sell them here in about 3 and a half minutes.

Those don’t look like what’s on my truck …mine don’t have the front reservoir. Almost like someone tried using the coils with the rear shocks.
Reports are that the REAR lower mount bushings are not replaceable with Tacoma pro shocks.
    Edited for accuracy

They’re for the 4Runner TRD Pro.

See if they fit. the Tacoma TRD Pro never came with the front reservoir
