Bought a used 2005 for my daughter to use at college. One owner local truck.

Couple small issues that I think I have already fixed. Cruise intermittent and blower fan connection. Ordered up a clock spring and a dorman kit for the wiring.

I think those were the only things I found not right.

It has 235000 miles. Frame has some rust, but we are mostly in the south and don't see much salt. Extreme southern Kansas. Not too concerned. It won't haul more than a couple kayaks or tow more than a riding mower.

My only big concern is the head gasket and I don't know if I really should be. Looks like a doable job at home if need be.

Toyota fan now. We have a 2007 Corolla that has serve us faithfully for the last 13 years and is still going strong at 250k miles.

I don't think the head gasket is anything to worry about. Change the oil put gas in ... go to lake with friends

Replaced the clockspring and the blower resistor and wiring yesterday. Truck is 100% now. My daughter will be taking it to college on Thursday and leaving me the corolla.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    Nice. Well done!
