Comparison of Tacoma brake line pictures

I currently have a deposit on a 2025 OR with scheduled delivery in April. As there is no current remedy for the brake line recall, I'm not hopeful that I will pick up the truck in April.

While I was at the dealer picking up my 4Runner from service, I decided to take brake line pictures for the Tacomas currently on their lot (see below). To my eye, it looks like there is more clearance than the pic posted on the original thread.

Thoughts?

Even on the 17” wheels, it doesn’t look terrible.

 

wouldn't the new 4runners have the same brake architecture? wonder why there's no recall/stop sale for them

 

Most 4Runner trims ship with 18" or larger wheels.

 

Are the pictures upside down? If not, check the other wheel.

 

Yes they are--I held my phone upside down and placed my hand at the 12:00 position of the rear wheel well
