    Hi,

Hope someone here can help me. I have this headend in a Tacoma 2014. It was made by panasonic, I am trying to find out if the unit is capable of being hooked up to a rear parking camera and if there is a schematic of the back of the headend to show where the trigger and video signals go.

I looked through some threads here but did not find anything for this model. I know the video feed work, but when i hook the reverse trigger to the unit pin 2 on a 24 pin connector, the display never switched to show the feed from the camera. Any idea? I am thinking maybe the headend is not capable of being able to display camera feed. Either that or the trigger pin is not landed in the right place.

    Regards,

    PDN

Stumbled upon this looking for something else...we have a 2015 Tacoma PreRunner we bought for my nephew several years ago. I too then wondered if an aftermarket camera would work with this exact model OEM head unit. What I found was that an OEM camera in the tailgate latch will work and as the Japanese think ahead, the truck wiring harness had the connection in place, all I had to do was buy a OEM camera, remove the tailgate panel and plug in the OEM camera and it works just fine. I would first check to ensure the wiring harness plug is there, but I would bet the farm on it.
