You've inspired me to assemble something like this.

 

I stopped at Home Depot last night for a new jab-saw, as mine was MIA (probably left on a job). I ended up finding a few other things I "needed."

This light was on sale for $60. It's magnetic. Pretty handy! And, I've been meaning to pick up a flush cutter.

 

That light is pretty nice, its great for sticking to the underside of the car your working on.

 

So homedepot dropped the ball on my delivery. Only received 1 item of the bundle and never updated in their system spent some time on the phone with them last night. All they kept saying was i should expect to see my delivery in 2 to 3days. Still not updated on their website on my account. Next time I'll just use the pick up in the store for check out. Also said it was being delivered from ups. But they use a contractor company called roadie/something. Anywho let's see how this works out.

 

So what batteries does the plunge cut drywall saw use?
Wouldn't want it to be 12 volt when all my batteries are 18volt.

Well never got any notification but the pole saw came in today. The hedge trimmer looks beastly

 

I do not know why I didn't get a set of those batteries sooner. I installed a bit of strapping and 12 sheets of drywall and it only dropped down one bar on the 5.0's. I'd probably have swapped out the little batteries twice with all that work. Now I need to get a 1/2" impact. Not that I'd ever get rid of my air impacts, but I imagine it'll be handy. Just gotta wait for a sale.

 

We used my 12.0 battery yesterday working on the chicken coop it lasted my brother all day. I had zero motivation so I just watched him work lol.

 

only downside of the 12 if you're using it on say an impact driver it would get get heavy after a day but nothing to wild, learned that lesson when i built a 16x16 shed last spring.

if i were to do it again, think a 5.0 or a 6.0 would be the optimal weight if also having to hang it from a tool belt. and know that a 6.0 will take an all-day beating at least for me in the shop working on cars stuff

 

Snagged the deal of the day for the 100 piece driver bit set for 30 bucks. I’ve wanted to get a set with the longer bits so I’m excited to try them out.

That's the case I have. Added a tire repair kit to it. Damn that price went up. I snagged it for 25$ off Amazon

 

I’ve been on the M18 platform for years but amazingly did not have an impact driver until this week. This thing is a beast!

 

That's the last drill I need to add to my collection. My brother has one and can confirm it's a beast

 

the M18 impacts have become a favorite in my shop for all kinds of things! I own 2 of them

 

I used the m18 hand held mini chainsaw yesterday at my brothers house and man that thing is a beast. We have been building 10x12 chicken coop the past couple weekend just about done with.

 

Just picked it up this morning. This is a really nice set for $30.
