Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

I have been sleeping unusually well since I went to the chiropractor and was anticipating really dropping off last night after being outside all day.

I think it was a combination of my nose running like crazy and my back hurting, I'll keep on keeping on just like always.

 

Thank you, she is on the back side of it I believe, neither of us are really miserable sick, just the nose running & running.

 

Nice little creek.

 

Freezing rain, turning to snow (2"-8"), and high winds (60mph) starting tonight through tomorrow.

And thunderstorms.

It's been a few years since we've had thundersnow.

Part had some threads missing so I welded it up and cut them back on the part.






Turns out I cut them about .010" to small and had to weld them again and cut them again

Guy I know has a towing company and pulled one out last night

 

Like I got runned over by an old lady pushing a shopping cart.

 

I went by a guys house yesterday to look at a job and he has a 1977 Chevrolet LUV Mikado in his basement he bought new. Has 43K miles on it. I ask him how much did he pay for it, he said $1,800 and the receipt was inside of it



Looked like this, just nicer.

 

There is one of those about 1 block from my house, used to work on it when I was an auto mechanic. Atleast once a week I think about asking the gentleman if he'd sell it

 

Stop and ask, you don't know if you don't.

I've learned my lesson on that both ways, many times. Stopping to look at something that looks nice from the road only to realize it's not worth it and not stopping to ask if someone wants to sell something because in my head I don't think they will and then next thing you know, it's gone.

Friend of mine had a decent square body, long bed, 4wd, 4 speed, etc. and I had ask him before if he wanted to sell it, he always said no.

My wife told me to ask him about it, I said he don't want to sell it, I've ask.

She kept on me, I called him and said my wife wants to know if you want to sell your old truck? He said I sold it yesterday

I spent most of the yesterday picking up sticks by hand and raking leaves. Just in time for a new storm system to roll through tonight and tomorrow I wish I had a blade for the front of my lawn tractor, that would make cleanup somewhat easier.
