I haven't unbolted them to see if they make a difference in general, but being all aluminum, they're pretty light overall.

Definitely no brass or extra weight placed anywhere as these are not a performance axle.

Groovy. Spidertrax is right here in Loveland, Colorado. I've been to the shop where they make these (1:1 size) and their spacers. They are a customer. Pretty cool operation.

Bought a buggy chassis from RC Speedy for my Scx6. Cage is Ti with aluminum body panels. Put a little polish on the panels to clean them up. IMG_4450.jpg

2FM RC did a review on them that's just 4 months old. I won't post the video here due to some content.:spy:
He seemed to like them, but his test was with the Echo chassis, which is long. He did bitch quite a bit about the Echo, and some Facebook bs, so it's worth watching for that too. He was on a rant for sure.
Jconcepts makes another called the Rupture. Expensive.
    https://jconcepts.net/ruptures--63mm-od
I'm not really sold on them anymore after using pins. :D
Finding pin tires in a 64/63mm range is darn near impossible.

Ruptures seem to get mentioned quite often in the groups, specifically when talking comps.

I need to put more miles on my own tires before I go trying other shit

Pins I just got are like 72mm :anonymous:

Pin tires come in the oddest sizes. I get being narrow, but what's up with the over and under heights?
This is what I originally bought and lucked out with them as they have outperformed everything else.

They do have tiny pin type tread on the lugs. Seems to be Amazon's #1 in sales too.
Maybe this is the pinnacle in performance.
The 60mm XHX have the same grip, but drag diff. I'd like to see them in a 63mm.

Yeah so I ended up with 72mm pins for the 1.3 wheels that should arrive next week.

But I was also on that whole back and forth with finding pins in a size I want and not 60mm (for 1.0's) cause why would I want to go smaller

Are you cutting your tires at all? I hear the comp cut is the most common for real serious traction.

    Looks like this -

    483849992_122213654564200529_3718350185172943098_n.jpg

And for some, that's after trying other cuts too like these -

    479916577_9084460425013842_4166358967164529148_n.jpg

    481250611_9742071029150693_7099579076977103153_n.jpg

    483872379_683461444112322_8699237212450327440_n.jpg

Most end up going back to the comp cut.

I have seen those, not at that level of obsession just yet though..:p
Injora has them in a 65x19mm. They just look reaallly tall being that skinny.
1mm is giving me fits of ocd.

Welllll shit, I guess Hard Park just quietly removed the carbon fiber BOA mount for the LGRP Super8 axles which sucks.

That was the only reason for contuing my Dementor build.

Went to their site and noticed that a shit ton of stuff was restocked but suddenly the CF BOA is gone.

I have the old-style 65mm 1.0 Pins which are meh at best and I've taken out of rotation, but the 60mm HXH 1.0 Pins remain my absolute favorite. The 1.3 73mm HXH Pins are killer but agreed they are a super strange size, I'm holding out hope they do 65mm HXH Pins for 1.0s sometime soon.
