Looking for front end wreck at low speed ( 8-15 mph)

    i was thinking about that before. i know the system saves data if the airbag or seat restraint system is activated. i don't know, but don't believe the system saves any data in a case like this where the air bags or seatbelt charges aren't triggered. but it also likely wouldn't suit the OP in this case, as the system only saves seconds of pre-crash data, which might not have captured the moments leading up to the stop sign, only moments after it. it would at least indicate the speed at the point of impact though, if it did record.

    but again, even assuming the saved data does have all the information on the situation leading up to and after the stop sign, i just don't see how it changes the outcome beyond what's already filed in the police report. heck, even assuming the police report was never filed until after the data was pulled and analyzed. i just don't see how it changes the current outcome.
