Any adjustable crossover for the tweeter?

The tweeters I use was like these.

They were cheap but sounded good. I don't know if the tweeters available today has the same sound quality.

Only one way to find out!:spending:

Seriously, I’m wondering if you can “trick” the DSP of the Key. Crank the treble on the headunit, run the setup again, turn treble down?

could run an L-pad off the tweeter crossover to turn it down further as well if reprogramming the key doesn't work as simply.

Awesome job so far, videos are a nice touch. I know I'd be happy with that.

Isn't that what your KK w/ dsp setup is supposed to do? Tame down excessively bright tweeters?

Also, what are you doing with those Unity's?

I need to hear your setup once complete. :D

I haven't placed the tweeter grills or dash mat back in yet, so that might muffle them just enough. :fingerscrossed: I might try retuning the key or repositioning the tweeters in the sails or the included pods so they're not firing straight up at the windshield.

Not sure what I'm doing with the CDT's just yet. I'm going to give these Focal's some time to see if I can stand to keep them long term. Give me a week or so and maybe I can part with the Unity's. :notsure: I really want to hear the Focal Flax in person for tweeter comparison. :headbang:

I got a chance to yank the 16 awg wire going to the sub and replaced it with the 12 awg KnuKonceptz from Amazon.

    https://www.amazon.com/KnuKonceptz-...e19-41db-a9ec-c086ed9b9817&pd_rd_i=B006VP97DE

I was surprised, but the Stealthbox is now pounding harder. :D

Tweeter grills and dash mat did muffle the tweeters some. I've also turned down the voice assistant volume as low as it will go and turned off the auto level volume setting on the head unit. The sound quality is really something! :rockband:

Now I just need to work on adding apple CarPlay. Kenwood or Pioneer? :notsure:

I really like KnuKonceptz products, they are my go to. The 10TW3 needed to be broken in. I personally like both but prefer the aesthetics of the Pioneer.

I’m a fan of Knukonceptz as well. Speaker and signal cable for me.

For the $150CAD difference when I bought my headunit, I went KENWOOD. I like the layout, easy to navigate. Some things are hidden, but are a “set-and-forget” item (backup camera settings), that it’s not bothersome at all.

Heyya stranger... thanks for the vids, been in and out of sleep today after a small back procedure, so super thankful that you shared those.

I'll have to catch up on this thread soon

Edit: Caught up... I guess things died down after my last post here. Hope the stereo stuff got all fixed up and has been running good for ya!

This thread was a flop, but I learned a lot. :anonymous: There were some things I would have done different for sure, but the system works great with the 2 kicker keys, jl stealthbox and focal auditor speakers.

Hopefully you're on the mend. :hattip:
