Any of y'all got a set? Dealt with the company, ship times, home delivery?

They also said the ones for a 4 door short bed will fit a access cab.

They claim they are half the weight of steel sliders. I did a search on steel slider weight for a gen 3 Tacoma and got between 85 to 150 pounds.

Theirs look most good, and wouldn't rust.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Aluminum doesn't slide over rocks well and it gouges really bad if you drag them. Aluminum still corrodes in salty air.

Access cab and double cab short bed are the same size.

I've had a set for about a year now.

They are in fact half the weight of steel sliders, 27lbs each on my scale vs 75lbs each for steel. I was able to install them by myself by hand in less than 30 minutes, ask anyone who has installed steel sliders and they will tell you either have 2 people do it or use multiple jacks to hold them in place.

They were very well packaged when shipped, the powder coat is excellent on them (best I've ever seen,) but you will get a duty bill for shipping across the border. My duty bill was $68, so just under $1100 total to have them shipped to my door.

I mostly do easy to low medium difficulty off road trails so lugging steel around seemed like over kill for my needs.
The sliders have taken 2 good hits so far with just some scratches in the powder coat, they saved my rockers so they have paid for themselves already.
I also have RCI aluminum engine, trans, and fuel skids. The engine skid has a few hits and is holding up great as well.

If you aren't hitting them all the time aluminum armor is great for those 'oh shit' moments. If you are wheeling where you need to constantly use the armor to slide over obstacles then steel is what you want.

I have a set. I am local to them so shipping times were no issue for me.
The powdercoating on these are done very well. Much more durable than some of the other popular sliders on the market. Fit is perfect, no additional drilling/modifications needed.
They are meant to be able to take a solid hit and provide decent protection, however if you are doing heavy rock crawling, I suggest sticking to steel.

As for weight, I would say they weight around 35Lb each side if I took a guess? Had no issues installing it myself.

Perfect for someone in rust prone areas.

I would recommend them. Plus our dollar is pretty terrible at the moment, great for american buyers.

I'm just looking for something that won't rust to replace my Predator Steps with.

I honestly have zero use for sliders...unless they really help against door dings. Only thing they'd really help with would be to stand on to clean my windshield. Bugs are getting bad early in my area this year.

The beach, and a few dirt/sand roads with low spots filled with water is the only time my truck is off the pavement.

That's a lot of money for just running boards. You should be able to find used oem aluminum running boards for under $200.

I just went through this argument with my buddy that picked up a new tundra. 500$ for a running board or 2000 for steel rci sliders that will never see a single rock.
But he liked the look more so dollars were spent.

As for greenlane I have their stump bumper and the craftsmanship and powder coat is beyond top notch. If your not intending on smashing them off rocks weekly aluminum is they way to go. Great for oops moments and a sturdy step.

Never heard of a duty bill. Do you pay that at checkout?

I bought my truck new in 2018. Other than putting 2018 Sport Wheels and Toyo 265-65-17 tires, it's been stock.

Last month I decided I was ready for a change. I called the local 4x4 shop and told them I wanted a 2" lift, and it would honestly be just for looks. He instantly started talking about a $600 Rough Country lift. Told him even though it was for looks I wanted it done right. Between the 6112, 5100 Bilsteins, labor, buying a 5th wheel for a spare and buying 5 new Toyo 265-70-17, I spent about $3K.

To me it's like having a new truck, even though I doubt anyone except maybe another Tacoma owner would even know it was lifted. Yeah it was a lot of money I didn't have to spend, but I like it. Same with the sliders, I have no plans on needing them for what their made for. I just think they would look a lot better than what I have, and I kinda like to do things right, even if not needed.

I got a bill from FedEx for duty about two weeks after delivery. Paid it online on the FedEx website.

Have had Greenlane sliders for 3 years or so. Outstanding product that have stood that test of time. From what I recall, the service from Greenlane was great and everything was well packaged.

    Not cheap.

    This and that
I’ve got the bumper, with wings, and the sliders.
Paid a duty bill via fed ex the same, couple weeks later. I think for the sliders I never even saw one. Pretty quick to ship. Very easy to install. Packaging is crazy. Wrapped up like dinosaur bones headed to a museum.

so I bought the angled, no kick outs. I never thought I would like the extended step, but I do. for some odd reason they don’t look to hang as low as the Cali raised I have had in the past. I know they all are frame height, but just the way it lays looks better.

I have a set as well. Very well made. Extremely light, and install was pretty straightforward. You do have to pay a duty tax in the US.

I've got a set for oh shit moments and to stop door dings. Had welded on steel sliders on my old truck, living im manitoba I'll never go that route again. Constantly fighting rust is a losing battle.

I'm very happy with them, Hell my parents want a set for there 4runner and that thing will never see more then deep snow.

I actually know a guy that has a set he does wheel hard. He's impressed with them, they are dented and whatnot but haven't bent up inyo his body or anything. They're fairly stout for what they are.

These are about the only ones I've seen that I like. Want something that doesn't hang down far. Hell their only $300 or so less than the sliders. Just checked shipping on the factory boards!

I have the ones with the kick out. Love them! They’ve made it through 3 northeast salted road winters and show zero signs of blemish. The powder coat is solid and hasn’t needed to be touched up yet bouncing off a few small saplings. Haven’t bashed them on a full sized tree yet but I’m sure they’d be fine. They’re super solid and very well made.
When I bought them I received an invoice from fedex to import them from Canuckland. Paid it, and then they cleared customs. Really wasn’t that much of a hassle and imo very worth it for the quality of slider that Greenland delivers.

Never heard of the company prior. Nice to see positive comments about a company. Don’t see that often.

According to their website they are paying the import (duty) (tariff) fees until April 2025.
