Installed 2014 motor in it after first one blew ( used truck head gasket with bars leak in it I didn’t know about when I got the truck at 69k miles on it blew at 100k) trans also replaced after jiffy lube put in universal fluid in it to flush. Current issue is at idle in park truck stays cool as normal but if I drive 55 or below takes about 20 min to get upper end of hot if I drive above it takes less Time to get really hot if I tgrow it on neutral won’t cool off or at stop light in neutral same only if I put it in park will it cool down. No coolant loss but if I open it it sends it out ina fury of hot why only in park is it staying cool if I drive slow it won’t get hot if it’s a short trip. Thermostat pulled heater core removed from equation to find issue but still happening. HELP
So this should be interesting for all of you. I had a wire behind my dash in the wiring room ground out. Somehow it was a power wire, and it ground out on something and a huge puff of smoke from behind my dash happened. I thought it was my stereo at first, but ended up not being a stereo on. It went all the way back to the fuse box Inside that wire loom. It also touched and got hot obviously next to other wires so. Now I had dash lights after the wire head grounded out, but then they flickered once probably a week or two later and then shut off. I still have dummy lights, but no dash lights behind my speedometer in RPMs. I’ve tried tracking it down. I can’t seem to figure it out. I have pulled the pin from the fuse box connector so I could replace that but it just seems like it’s actually just a stereo wire. Is there any way to determine why my dash lights don’t work Also I’ve had intermittent issues with the rear locker lighting up when I haven’t even touched the button. I’m at a loss right now trying to figure this out. It’s a 2006 Toyota Tacoma pre-runner four-door 2 Wheel Dr. One other thing does anybody have a better way besides cutting The rear bearing out to replace it or is it only that tool and a shop press?
