Audio on USB, cuts out

    Hi.
    I have a 2020 with stock player. I formatted and played mp3 files no problem.
    I have them in 17 folders. It cycled through folders and ran very well to folder 7, then suddenly died. I unplugged the USB, switched to radio, then plugged in the USB again. It defaulted to folder 1. Some days later it cycled through to folder 4, then cut out again. Repeated this again and it reached folder 2 before cutting out.
    Just want it to cycle through all my songs.
    Any ideas?

    i never have good luck with folders and always just end up dumping everything to root. been that way for all my Toyotas.
