Yeah I am digging into it. The ironic part though is I was plugging it in for the first time since the new motor on 3s. Probably went through a whole 2s on that motor with no issues. Legit plugged it in, slightly tapped the throttle and it just took off on me out of control.

Lmao same. My wife was like I bet it was on the doorbell cam and sure enough... :rofl:I thought the battery was on thermal runaway and heading straight for my neighbors truck.

Is it a dual motor? If not then this one is what I have been using on a 1st gen SCX10 on 3s.
You can always power the lights off the program port or the extra port on the rx.

    It supports full manual programming.

    @Strictlytoyz

Comp frame is available, so I just ordered it and some driveshafts from LGRP.

I benched the Valkyrie this morning after it pissed me off yesterday

Really it's the Injora Pins that sucked but today I found that I had lost a nut and bolt and busted my shock.

The chassis itself is freaking great, especially with the BOA axle setup.

It just frustrated the hell out of me because everyone swears on pins, only to realize that's only after you cut them.

Otherwise, they're only good when they're stupid clean.

As for the LGRP Comp chassis, I might. I ordered it just to mate with the Spider 9's I got. That and I've got extra LGRP goodies like a motor, trans, wheels, etc. so figured why not.

You figure a plan for your Spider 9s yet?

Yeah, from what I've seen everyone swears by pins, but it's definitely after they've been cut/grooved. No plans yet for the spider 9's they're just sitting pretty on my desk. I'm off island again for work until the 26th so I'll see if I get any ideas by then

I have some injora pins that are a love hate relationship. Some surfaces they stick to everything and have incredible traction while others they have less traction than the lexan shell. Our old indoor hobby shop course half the course you could do everything and the other half was like being on ice. Have ran them a couple times outdoors with similar results. They seem to be better after lots of use but still absolutely fight for traction where other tires have no issues. If I’m doing a wheel and tire swap it’s usually the last set I try.

and also because everyone like pictures, new body for the kids new chassis. It’s a Brazin scale hi-low we traded a basher for.

Decided to commit to the bug body and fix the tire rub issue. It was as simple as removing the magnets, remounting it 4mm back and applying a sticker over the hood to hide the paint blemish. Then a slight trim on the front to clear the screw in the servo arm.

with the stickers and rear magnet installed, it's only 6g lighter than the Yota body. 24-30.

Waiting on some different inserts for the new cling-ons, Amazon must be tired of my daily deliveries and pushed it off a day.

Yeeeah that's me with my LGRP comp chassis

Got a notification that my UPS package was scheduled for delivery today (a separate email cause I'm subscribed to UPS) only for it to be my Amazon order

    20250319_124435.jpg

I did my last two LGRP orders through UPS since it's free 1-day shipping being a member

Although it's the same cost to me via UPS 1 day and USPS ground advantage as a non-member

Figured, why risk another wrong-address delivery like my Slymeballz

Swapped the Esc tonight. Apparently they aren’t supposed to have speed holes.

    @Strictlytoyz

You putting the Gripper tires on a comp rig?

Asking cause a couple of goodies arrived. I'm gonna use these black wheels on the Mazz build with the black body I painted a few weeks ago

    20250320_095103.jpg

    20250320_100747.jpg

With the comp chassis arriving today (ordered it in grey), I'm unsure which wheel color I should use to better match the axles and chassis.

The kit is nice as hell but god damn there are soooo many screws

    20250320_202451.jpg

Thinking I should have ordered the metal shock towers and braces which I will shortly.

The flat areas for placing say, your battery and electronics seem sturdy but I did have a piece arrive broken.

    20250320_142609.jpg

It's super thin and it's a small lip that attaches to the top of the skid.

LGRP is already sending me a replacement but unfortunately they don't make an aluminum version of it. It's a non-issue once attached to the skid it seems but it's stupid weak being left off of it.

I think they're just going to go on one of my fuck around builds. Actually quite happy with the current tire setup on my nacho chassis. Haven't gotten around to installing the slymeballz on my ccv3 chassis. Good news is I'm heading back home tomorrow. Passed all my tests earlier than expected.
