So having a similar issue. Bought a Mobilistics electronic relay. Basically a kill switch for your EFI or ignition relay. Since mine is a MT it was having issues in the ignition switch, I’m guessing because of the clutch engagement switch. So had to press the button and simultaneously start the car, which wasn’t optimal. Anyways switch to the EFI and the truck threw some codes for communication error. Anyways. I switched it back to the ignition since it worked and my keys just stopped working. Yanked the whole thing out, but the keys still don’t work. Went through the chicken dance a million times and it doesn’t engage. Disconnected the battery for 10 minutes and that didn’t work.

does anyone know how to pull the dash apart so I can unplug the receiver and see if that works?

What isn't working the Remote FOB for the door locks or the Transponder for the Immobilizer?

The "Chicken Dance" you refer to is for the Keyless Remote Programming.
It seems to me what you are describing is an issue with the Immobilizer Security System.

Your installation of the Electronic Relay may have damaged components in the CAN Bus such as the ECU etc...

The door locks work, just not with the key. I’ve tried the chicken dance and my locks don’t unlock and lock to signify that it is in programming mode. I removed the imobilizer completely. I tried my factory spare key with a new battery as well. So right now it’s just the transponder in the key fob. I saw people with second gen’s unplug the key fob receiver and it started working, but I’m not sure where it is in the 3rd gen

The Immobilizer and keyless entry are two entirely different systems unless you have the push button start. In any case 3rd gens (2016-23) are different than 2nd gens, they don't have a user programming modes for either system. It requires a scan tool to program transmitters and/or keys.

I’m assuming that’s a special scan tool and not just a regular OBD2?
Yeah the 2019 MT doesn’t have push button, just a standard key. I’ve seen an advertisement for a key scan tool but maybe the dealer is the best option?

Just a generic tool wouldn't do it, you would be in the higher end ($600+) scan tools to get into immobilizer stuff. Even then it's kind of a grey area for aftermarket tooling and OE often requires that you are registered with NASTF, your best option will likely be someone that is a registered locksmith or the dealer unfortunately.

So I got my warranty stuff ready to call the dealership today and boom, my fob randomly started working again. Wonder if something cleared in the ECU. Hopefully it stays working. Thanks for the help.
