Same thing happened to me a few years back. No simple fix, it bent the interior (door side) of the hinge point. Mine was a body shop fix. Sucks, hard lesson learned for me, hang onto the door and pay attention to the winds of shit.

It almost sounds like it’s coming from inside the door. The little black piece that has the stops on it for where the door hangs open looks like it can be taken off. For the life of me can’t see anything with my eyes though. All the gaps around are still even when closed and at the point where it makes the noise. Might just be how it is now

Mine wouldn't close all the way, had about 1/4" gap at the rear. I just went through insurance for the repair.

Hey guys any recommendations on finding a good Primary care/family practice doctor in the area? While I've lived here over a decade I've thankfully been healthy and never needed to visit a doctor in the area but I'd like to find one for some new/odd pains I've experienced over the last few weeks and my United healthcare app is minimally helpful in finding one. Don't really feel like walking into the hospital ER or an urgent care as that seems excessive, but would like to get checked out and have zero experience with healthcare here in NV. Any info/advice appreciated!

FS: Brand new Relentless Fab hybrid bumper. Powdercoated steel. Never installed, no scratches, dings, mars, anything. Decided to buy a jeep instead of building the tacoma for now. $1200 obo. Possibly open to interesting trades.

When you find one, let me know too. My guy who was great went back to work for the University and I've been on the lookout too. He said he got burnt the fuck out dealing with the general public, and I, for one, don't blame him at all.

I definitely want the bumper but can’t find a single way to justify it being even remotely smart lol.

Need to add a little bit of preload right now after adding the full skid set lol

I spent 20 mins looking over my door and i think I just have to accept that’s how it is now. Unless it gets worse I can’t find it.

And some OEM brakes I ordered finally shipped. Paid 135 for new pads and rotors in front when a link for 25% off got posted on here. Arrive before end of day Wednesday. Leave Friday AM. Cuttin it close. Will be nice peace of mind as mine are definitely not thriving but not awful

I’d do it, and then sell it if you end up regretting

Space is a luxury I do not have, and timing is a factor. 99% sure I'm leaving Reno end of June at the latest. And I'd need to swap to the heavier spring for my coil overs and they're nearing needing rebuild so probably wouldn't handle another 190 (If I'm putting a bumper on, I'm 100% getting a winch) pounds extra that well.

Think your best bet is getting on Renown/MyChart and seeing which providers are close to you and available and then pick straws. You can call Renown scheduling too and see which primary care doctors are accepting new patients and how far out they are on a visit.

If it’s pains related to bones/muscles/joints check out the ROC Express walk in clinic. A PCP will probably just end up referring you out to a specialist anyway.

If you do want a PCP and Renown is in network for you call them up and they will get you setup with someone. Both PCPs I’ve had with Renown have been great.

Closest I’ve had to a PCP is regular appointments at ROC for problematic knees lol. I think they took my blood pressure once? Does that count?

@theesotericone or others have any suggestions for an area to camp at/route to take on dirt in the truck? Will be able to start it by 1 PM ish. Would be cool to find some old mining remains stuff. Heading from St. George very early AM that day then gonna find a place to camp Lone pine or east of it stemming off 190 preferably.

Planning back end of trip right now. Last day will be heading from there up to bishop for Schatts and home to Reno late.

    IMG_7203.jpg

Worst case I pick some random lines and go aimlessly explore just curious if you’ve got a suggestion

In that area you're best bet is exploring in Panamint Valley. You could go up north from the highway crossing the valley on a dead end route that ends at a mine (I haven't gone all the way to it yet, just seen pics online and have it pinned) and you can camp alongside that road after the first mile off of the highway.
Or go down south a few miles in Panamint valley and check out the Minnietta mine/cabin about 5 miles off pavement. If you're feeling like exploring a bit more rugged route continue up to the Defense mine after checking out Minnietta. Technically Minnietta and Defense are just outside the park boundary so camping just about anywhere you feel like in that area is fair game too.

Cottonwood Canyon is also a worthy candidate, just WNW of Stovepipe Wells. I'll have to add Minnietta to my list of places to explore in the southern end of the park. most of my time has been spent north of 190

We may be adding a second night in Death Valley because I want to go to mesquite flat dunes and desolation canyon lol. My inner nerd needs to see a filming site from the movies in person

    appreciate the input

@cartter469 Eric gave you a solid tip about Defense Mine. It's chill and exploring the mine can be fun or terrifying depending on how deep you go. Bring 3 light sources and don't be a dipshit. You can camp right at the mine entrance without any issues. That said the road can be a little beat up. It's also easy to miss the road entirely and continue up an old drainage with some old mining equipment in it. Do not go that way. If you see this you've gone the wrong way.

And yes, that's a Relentless Fab bumper being used as a plow. It's as solid as you can get. You should buy @kairo bumper from him.

Copy all. Thanks yall. That picture is the exact scenario I will be trying to avoid. Single vehicle trip. Looks like a blast but that's later when I have friends with and a second car to drive to work. Just trying to find a balance of trail exploring but not so technical to the point high odds of getting stuck lol. Pretty sure no matter what I do out there I'll have a blast since It'll be my first time in Death Valley area off the pavement

Does o Reilly or autozone rent spring compressors I can use with a normal wrench? I don’t have power tools. Just need to adjust preload on my coilovers, and Elka even says I can do it with them on my truck I just have to use a spring compressor to do so since they use a single preload collar.

or any of y’all have a spring compressor I could borrow?

also found the noise in my door. Mark on the left with paint missing is where the door check rubs on the door support
