I’m in Tampa from NC on a year long assignment at MacDill. Looking for a shop to do about $10k in mechanical and body work on a 2017 Tacoma Pro. A girl ran a red light and basically ripped off the front of the truck. Any help on a shop would be great.

 

Far from Florida. Never seen her like this.

 

Any person or shop able/willing to do alignment on 3" lift with 35s? Also need the cam gussets to get bent forward and weld a bead behind because someone flattened one...

 

S&M Truck, clearwater, FL. They know what time it is. They know their shht. They don't funk around.

 

I was recommended there, but read multiple reviews (including on the 4Runner forum) that mentioned if you're not purchasing anything from them (i.e., rims, tires, lifts), they treat you terribly. ESPECIALLY if you go in requesting anything, and I'll have to request +4 caster for my 35s to not rub, and allegedly they've told multiple people to get "the hell out" of their shop for attempting to "tell [them] what to do." Overall, it doesn't sound like they enjoy cleaning up other people's messes, in fact, they'd rather turn those away.

*Edit* Follow-up: Ended up going to GW Automotive Inc in Clearwater. They knew exactly what I was wanting without even asking. He told me they would max out the caster and zero out everything else to the best of their ability. They managed to get over 4 degrees on either side, and I have absolutely no rub whatsoever. They also discounted replacing my tie-rods, which the guy from the previous shop managed to cross-thread. Overall, both inner/outer tie rods and an alignment were about $400 out the door.

 

Hi everyone, new to the Tampa area. Wondering where everyone goes off-roading around here. Also looking for a good shop to do an exhaust reroute. TIA

 

Most I've "off-roaded" has just been driving on the beach, specifically Dunedin Causeway. I'd also like to know where some good trails are though!

For maintenance, I was recommended Timbo's Customs for my BMC, cam tab reinforcement welds, and UCA installation. He lives in Lakeland, which isn't a terrible drive for the amazing work he does. I'm not sure if he does exhaust stuff, but it's 100% worth reaching out to him and asking. His cuts and welds are incredible, he's extremely knowledgeable about Toyota's, and overall a genuinely great guy.
