Got my windshield today at the local auto glass shop. After driving an hour back home, I noticed the top passenger side is raised a bit higher than the driver side. Everything else looks good except the top passenger side. The shop said it should still be sealed correctly and I have nothing to worry about. I could not get OEM glass as the shop got 8 Toyota windshields shipped to them and they were all broken upon arrival, after about 2 months of having a completely shattered windshield I caved and went aftermarket. Is this cause for concern?IMG_0980.jpg IMG_0979.jpg

Bad installation, looks like they didn't seat it correctly on that side.

If you notice it now you always will.
I'd take it back and ask politely if they can make in right or look same on both sides.

If the truck is your pride and joy have them correct it. If it’s just a work truck or stump jumper don’t worry about it unless it leaks.

My windshield was sealed improperly once. You could hear wind coming through over 35-40 mph. Took it back and did a test drive then they agreed to replace it for free. They told me they could see a gap in the adhesive when they took the old one off.

Admittedly I've never looked as close as you have

you can do an air test around the seal. Safelite has a policy if you can feel the air on the outside, they replace it for free if they did the install. Just use your air compressor and shoot air around the perimeter of the windshield on the inside of the truck. Get someone to follow you around the edge & feel for the air on the outside. I bet you feel some air coming through on the bottom of that high side! GL!

They're lying about getting 8 oem windshields and they all arrived broken. If they wanted to they could get 20 delivered in less than a week.

they avoid OEM because OEMs want more for their glass and they aren't keen on volume discounts for installers
Glass shops (and insurance companies) use the cheaper glass to keep overhead costs down and they can mark it up more.

Some guys will buy their own windshield from the dealer and then take somewhere for install, but expect to pay a bit more labor

I'd take it back, that looks like ass
