    Hi

I'm trying to hookup vent style DRL/Signal light on Tacoma SR5 2024.
but I want to make a "T harness", perhaps T junction with headlight or AUX connector?

Any clue how to make the t-harness with wiring diagram colors codes and the headlight sockets?
    Ignition on- drl on
    position on-drl dim
    turn indicator-yellow wire?

    Thanks

I have a set also but haven't installed them yet due to all the reports of them randomly lighting up while the truck is turned off. They look cool but I don't want to risk a dead battery. Hopefully someone can figure out a surefire way to have these work properly.

I'm confused. Will wiring the turn signals into that work? I think I must be missing something, LOL. That looks like it would work as a switched light source. Will that have both functions of these turn signal / DRLs work properly or just have them all come on at once vis dash switch?

Just the required fused ignition source for the DRL feature.

You can wire them to the turn signal harness. White will come on any time the headlights are on and turn will use the orange sequence. I just did this a few weeks ago. Ordered OEM style connectors so it's plug n okay and I can remove them if I ever have a warranty issue that would be threatened by having spliced into the lights.

If you disconnect both the left and right turn signal you'll see the they have 3 wires each. 2 are the same color and 1 is different. The different color is the turn signal. The wire on the far side of the connector is the ground (black on the fang lights) and red goes to the center.

This is all from memory and I am on my second drink so sorry if it's not as clear as I normally would be.

That's not what the OP has asked. Also, Day Runningtime Lights would be parallel "headlights" wired in that manner.

This is what I'm trying to do, OEM style connector for Plug n Play and avoid any warranty issues. Can you let me know the part number of OEM style connector and is it located behind headlights? do you make two connectors for left n right turn signal?
it would be helpful if any diagram or photo. Thanks

yes, I saw this, but I'm trying to make OEM style head light connector, plug & play so that would be very clean & neat wiring. Tks

So you won't get the DRL feature by using a headlight connector. The turn signal is a separate connector.

I'm trying to figure out something similar, my ditch lights/driving lights have a drl and turn signal function and a OEM style connector would solve problem. Don't want to splice into them on a brand new trail hunter.
