Toyota did in a 30 second spot what Top Gear devoted an episode to. They tried killing a Hilux. Wrecked it, dropped it, buried it, burned it and drowned it a few other things. It refused to die!

I can't find the actual commercial but there is one where a guy driving a Toyota truck (I think it's pre Tacoma) over the Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado. In the middle of the bridge it rolls over to 100,000 miles and they get out to celebrate.

If you're not familiar the Royal Gorge bridge is a 100 year old suspension bridge over 1000' above the river below. I drove across the bridge in 1987. They no longer allow vehicles on it, but you can walk. It was one lane, so you had to wait for oncoming traffic to clear before starting. With the bridge bouncing as I drove it was a bit scary to say the least.
