Dupli-color only sells the touch-up in my color.
I know there are custom mix companies out there, but that might be a last resort.
Currently, my wheels are silver and look just a bit off.
    Thanks

Are you saying you want to paint your wheels a specific gold color instead of silver?

Well, although I think that both the body and wheels look silver, i do see a difference. Looking it up, early tacomas only offered aztec gold.
Maybe it is normal to have actual silver wheels?

Thinking more about it, I bet the wheels always come in silver, rather that body color.

    welcome to TW!

color matched wheels were never an OEM option, all alloys got a silver-ish finish

Yeah, I'm an idiot. It just threw me off that the colors were just slightly different. In thinking about it more, I realized how ridiculous that was.
    Thanks

The gold tone of the body is definitely there, but it's certainly a 'mild' gold.

    But yea, matchy didn't happen.

You have a nice looking truck as is!

call a local wheel remanufacture vendor
    Wheels of America is nationwide
typically $150 a corner.....this is to be repainted and all curb rash removed

a race friend took his DD BMW to a vendor here in Houston
his rims were perfect....just wanted to get them painted Anthrocite(black)
he nego with vendor and got them done (paint only) for $75 a corner
Professional work, rim off, color of his choice, clr coated, rebalanced.
he had an extra rim(plus spare)
so he just did 2 at a time....took 2 days(drop off in AM....picked up after work for those 2 days)

shit what does discount charge for mount/bal nowadays? $25 a rim???

    my choice

I think i will just refresh the wheels stock color. I like things stock personally. I will do the Vige Grip Garage index cards and plastic bags to refresh them for now. Trailer hitch first.
    Priorities!

    Just FYI:

you have the correct color code (4P7) and that’s really all that matters if you’re trying color match.

Bit the Toyota color name is Mystic Gold Metallic.
