I need a brush cutter, I've 2 acres of fence line and down one side I've likely 10ft of briars. because the neighbor, never keeps his trimmed back. cut it all back last summer, took way to long with a machete. But its grown back bad, think my plan this time is to cut it all back and use a weed torch to kill anything in the ground.

 

Ok, I seriously do not want to do this anymore

I'm not good at it, I don't like it, takes too long, get off my lawn... wait... Anyways...

Everything sanded down, primered, and two coats of paint. I did goof on a couple electrical boxes, no biggie, I can fix it. It honestly surprised me how good it looks. The inside corners are a dumpster fire, but there will be stuff or storage shoved in all the corners so you won't see it.

Also, don't judge for my lack of organization. It's disorganized, organized chaos right now. I got to put up my shelves and work bench still. Plan on picking up 1x for trim tomorrow.

Maybe? Hell I don't know. I don't feel like dicking with angles and don't want just a squared off trim so I added some rounded MDF moulding.

 

Great idea and that looks good, kind of modern.

 

The garage trim is going to look better than the inside of the house

The pre-primed 1x4 and 1x6 finger joint has skyrocketed. 12 1x4, 5 1x6, two pieces of that MDF, and some caulking was almost $300

 

You didn't leave a reveal on your extension jambs? Bad!!!

Far as the reveal, I spaced it out enough for the latch and just made both flush. I honestly don't like multiple "stepping" to it.



Same with the hinge side, plenty of room. Also, where TF are my nails?

 

So I installed a new countertop, cooktop, sink and added a tile backsplash

Kind of home improvement. Today I spent the morning cleaning metal up from all over the new property.
An old fridge, old wood burning stove, a bunch of chicken wire, a chicken tractor, burnt up tables and chairs, a cast iron tub the PO used as a pond with a poorly built waterfall fountain, and a mess of misc metal everywhere.
Well, when I was hooking my chains up to the tub to lift it with my tractor, I found that they had embedded nails in concrete pointing up under the fountain. The only problem is, I found it with my foot. It is surprisingly hard to pull a 3" long nail out of your foot and the bottom of a boot.

 

Get a tetanus shot if you haven't recently.

 

Been doing a bunch of home stuff in prep to sell... removed carpeting & what baseboard trim there was, installed LVP flooring (first time, and free thanks to Floor & Decor ), painted nearly everything, and painting the baseboard to be installed.

 

Latest one was last year.
