does anyone know how i can go from crank window door panels to the powered window door panels? they look roughly the same, the clips look to be in the same place, but im unsure of the fitment. anyone have any experience or suggestions with this? ( not trying to swap the cranks to powered, just want the door panels, have my own powered ones already) ( or if there's a way to swap it to factory that'd be very much appreciated) here's the door panels.IMG_8576.jpg IMG_8577.jpg

looking to get (customspeakerpods) they don't work on the manual crank door panels, the shape at the bottom isn't the right size, that's the main reason for swapping, and also to have powered windows. cranks suck:(

Hate to wreck the moment, but regular cabs weren’t wired for power windows, and probably not the different speakers. Hypothetically you might be able to wire in a regulator, but that would require a lot of cutting, and splicing, routing of wires, and some drilling into the door shell to mount the regulator, and I’m not even sure if the powered, vs the crank regulators bolts, and or secures to your original glass. With that being said, same applies to your trim piece. The holes might be the same, I’m not sure of that, but the trim is meant for an access or 4 door. Which means it’s longer than the one for your regular cab. I tried looking into the same thing.

i think the regular cab doors are actually a little longer than access and crew, the wiring isn't hard at all, i've wired powered windows and doors, i have aftermarket wiring and door speakers and tweeters already, im not worried about wiring, i can figure that out and source it, but my question mainly is if the door panels could be modded to fit, or if they will fit, it seems like if they are a little shorter, it'll fit, but if they're the same size i think you have to trim the top black half, on the back next to the b pillar, because it flares out more than the regular cab panels that are rounded and strait cut they are the same width and height, just length i think is different in some spots

I’m not sure how the mounting clips align, and yeah, you’re probably right., you might have to trim to fit. But that’s only because of the wing at the end. Also you said you’ve got your own harness? I’ve heard of it, but I could never find one, so assumed it wasn’t true. Where do you get it?

the harness i took out because i had wired my own for my speakers, and i did a alarm system so its all powered, i honestly was gonna steal a factory alarm system out of a friends truck and try to wire it in, or see if its plug n play but i haven't seen anything on the forums about it, and i didn't have any use for the factory wiring, and for the powered windows it'd be really easy to wire in the factory switches on the door panel to some wire, a relay, fuse, and tap it into ignition, and just wire the passenger switch to the driver side switch, and for the window actuators, it's more like the scissor window crank, and figuring out how to power it, but you can run a chain or pulley or what i'm gonna do is buy a powered window kit off of Amazon or wherever, and then just use the kit and self tap it to the door where it needs to be placed, and then use my own harness, and the factory door panel switches.
