I made this small addition the other day, and figured I’d post it on here in case anyone else was trying to find what I had been looking for, with no luck.
So far this mount is great, it’s not visible from outside, and there’s no movement whatsoever while I’ve driven over our property or on the road! Super happy with it!

This was super simple, I used the tacmolle gun clamps (https://www.tacmolle.com/products/gun-rack-for-molle-panel-mount or on Amazon)
I took out the hanger hooks and mounted the clamps in their place using 1/8in toggle bolt wing nuts, with 1-1/2in long machine screws. You do need to add #6 washer, paired with a split ring lock washer (not pictured below, I had no spare), to keep the head of the bolt from going through or working loose.IMG_4529.jpg

IMG_4523.jpg I’m sorry for the messy post, this is the first one I’ve done. I hoped this helped at all!

    haha ^

Curious...what do you do with it when you go into stores or otherwise leave the truck unattended? I'd be scared of someone breaking in and taking it.

I don’t take it on the daily, just if I’m riding around the property because coyotes roam around, or when I plan to go to the range. I did go in the store when I had it in there, but I just put up my sunshade for the windshield. You can’t see it anywhere else because it’s above all the windows, really You can’t see it in the windshield but I it just in case

Oh I dunno we see coyotes all the time around the streets and out in the desert.
Had one walk past me brushed my leg once at 4:00 a.m. whilst out shooting an orange full moon against the cactus.

They're pretty chicken-sht animals, but if I were a rancher I wouldn't want them around.

Still, they play an important ecological role.
